Solid Oak late Victorian Pedestal Desk C 1890. This is a magnificent solid oak desk with a green leathered top which has a nicely moulded edging supported by two four drawer pedestals standing on a plinth. In the centre there is a further drawer between the two pedestals. Each drawer has a brass ring handle. All the sides and the rear are beautifully panelled enabling the desk to be used in the centre of a room or against a wall. Above the four drawers in the pedestals there are two pull out panels which give a greater working area and which also have leather inserts. This desk is in fantastic condition and is by far the best oak desk we have had for a long time.
